Escombro is a design studio founded in 2024 by architect Fabricio Cortés Morado, based in Mexico City. Our practice operates at the intersection of architecture, editorial design, and visual practices, understanding design not merely as an aesthetic exercise, but as a critical and material tool deeply connected to its context.

Throughout our trajectory, we have established collaborations with institutions and creators who challenge the boundaries of the discipline. Among them are the Faculty of Architecture at UNAM and the MIT Leventhal Center for Advanced Urbanism, architecture offices such as ORU and OCIO Taller, as well as artists Arturo Hernández Alcázar, Nicolás Guzmán, and Juan Pablo Vivanco.
